SFI Press Editorial Staff

The SFI Press Editorial team is a small but resourceful group that oversees the full process of book publication, including manuscript acquisition and editing, art and design, layout in InDesign and LaTex, publishing, and marketing. We work with volume editors to envision and bring to the page new chapters on the cutting edge of complex systems science and reformat historic, foundational works on complexity for today’s audience.

Sienna Latham,
Managing Editor

With degrees in philosophy and the history of science, Sienna is passionate about making academic texts available to a wider audience. She spends her days liaising with editors and writers, proofing contributions, and laying out LaTeX volumes.

Zato Hebbert,
Production Assistant

Zato joined the SFI Press team in 2022. He is excited to use his background in the fine arts and programming to help the team with data visualizations and LaTex. You can find him after work unicycling down Atalaya. Access his painting and sculpture at: jakehebbertart.com

Ellis Wylie,
Post-Production Coordinator

With a background in medieval studies, Ellis loves a good deep dive into any niche. She brings that enthusiasm for historical research to SFI Press, officially joining the team in summer of 2024, and she is looking forward to getting involved with post-production aspects of publication. When not at work, she can be found riding her pony or singing from her piano bench.
